1. General
All bookings are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability.
All quoted prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Quotes do not include additional charges such as airport levies, parking fees, public holiday surcharges, waiting time charges, service charge or any other costs incurred during the booking unless specifically stated in writing.
By making a booking and paying a deposit, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking Confirmation & Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received, and written confirmation has been issued by Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services.
3. Final Payment
For standard bookings, the remaining balance is due no later than seven (14) days prior to the scheduled service date.
For wedding bookings, the remaining balance is due two (2) months prior to the wedding date.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and/or a 10% late payment surcharge.
4. Cancellations
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
For standard bookings:
Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled service will incur 100% of the total booking cost.
Cancellations made outside 14 days will forfeit the deposit only.
For wedding bookings:
Cancellations made within 6 months of the wedding date will incur 100% of the total booking value.
Any cancellation outside 6 months will be considered at the discretion of Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services, and may incur a fee.
Under exceptional circumstances of a cancellation, refunds will be subject to the discretion of Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services.
Cancellations are required in writing, and are not taken into effect until this is received by us.
5. Amendments & Additional Stops
Quotes are based on the itinerary provided at the time of booking.
Any changes to the route or itinerary during service may incur additional charges.
A fee of $15.00 applies for each additional stop not included in the original booking and is payable via EFTPOS at the final destination.
6. Airport Transfers & Flight Monitoring
All airport transfers include complimentary flight monitoring.
Drivers will adjust arrival times based on actual flight arrival information obtained through flight tracking services.
Complimentary waiting time includes:
Domestic Arrivals: 20 minutes
International Arrivals: 40 minutes
Waiting time commences from the officially published landing time.
Additional waiting time will be charged at $2 per minute, and is payable via EFTPOS at the final destination.
Clients may request a delayed pickup time to minimise waiting charges.
7. Waiting Time
All non-airport bookings include a complimentary waiting period of 10 minutes.
Additional waiting time will be charged at $2.00 per minute and is payable upon completion of the service, via EFTPOS.
8. Vehicle Conduct
For the comfort and safety of all passengers:
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
Consumption of food and beverages is not permitted unless approved by the chauffeur.
Passengers must comply with all reasonable directions provided by the chauffeur.
Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services reserves the right to terminate a service without refund if passenger behaviour is deemed unsafe, abusive, intoxicated, unlawful, or likely to cause damage to the vehicle.
9. Vehicle Damage & Cleaning Fees
The client booking the service is responsible for any damage caused by passengers.
Additional charges may apply for:
Damage to vehicle interiors or exteriors
Excessive cleaning requirements
Significant soiling of vehicles
Loss of vehicle use resulting from damage or cleaning requirements
Repair, cleaning, and loss-of-use costs will be charged to the client responsible for the booking.
10. Child Restraints
South Australian child restraint laws apply.
Clients must advise at the time of booking if children will be travelling.
Subject to availability, child seats may be supplied by Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services for an additional fee of $25.00 per seat.
11. Public Holiday & After-Hours Surcharges
Additional surcharges apply for services operating during:
Late Night Services
10:30 PM – 1:00 AM: 15%
1:00 AM – 4:00 AM: 25%
4:00 AM – 5:00 AM: 15%
Public Holidays
A surcharge applies on all South Australian public holidays.
Additional premium surcharges apply on:
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
New Year's Eve
New Year's Day
Applicable surcharge rates will be advised at the time of booking.
12. Point-to-Point Levy
All services (excluding weddings) will incur a Point-to-Point Transport Service Transaction Levy as per the SA Government., at a total of $2 per trip, in addition to the quote.
13. EFTPOS Surcharge
All EFTPOS payments will incur a 1.6% surcharge.
14. Vehicle Substitution
While every effort will be made to provide the requested vehicle, Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services reserves the right to substitute a vehicle with a comparable or superior vehicle due to circumstances beyond our control, including mechanical issues, accidents, emergencies, or operational requirements.
Where a suitable replacement cannot be provided, liability will be limited to a refund of monies paid.
15. Unforeseen Circumstances
Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or service failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Traffic incidents
Road closures
Severe weather
Flight disruptions
Mechanical breakdowns
Illness
Emergencies
Government restrictions
Where necessary, an alternative vehicle or chauffeur may be provided.
16. Limitation of Liability
Passengers travel at their own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, inconvenience, or consequential loss arising from the provision of services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
17. Website Use
By accessing or using the Vicary Advanced Chauffeur Services website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
